Irregular Verbs

English verbs can be either regular or irregular. The difference between them is the formation of the Past Simple and Past Participle forms. Regular verbs are consistent — their past simple and past participle always end in –ed. While, in contrast, irregular verbs can end in a variety of ways, with absolutely no consistent pattern. Here’s a list of most common English irregular verbs:
